Sheffield has always been a city built on strength. From our proud steelmaking heritage to our world-class sporting achievements, strength is part of our identity.

This November, we’re bringing that strength to life in a very special way.

On 21 November, the Sheffield International Powerlifting Championships will bring the world’s strongest lifters to Utilita Arena Sheffield for an unforgettable celebration of strength, determination and sporting excellence.

But this year, we’re hoping to make an impact beyond the competition platform.

We’re delighted to announce Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity as our official charity partner, helping us turn world-class sporting achievement into something that makes a real difference to local children and families.

As part of the partnership, we’ve introduced a special charity ticket, with ÂŁ15 from every ticket sold going directly to Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.

It’s a simple idea. Come along, experience an incredible sporting spectacle and help support a charity that means so much to people across our city.

Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust provides outstanding care for children and young people, and we’re proud to play a small part in supporting its vital work.

For us, the Championships have always been about more than records and medals. They’re about bringing people together, inspiring the next generation and showcasing Sheffield on the international stage.

With the world’s elite powerlifters competing in the City of Steel, we have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything that makes Sheffield special.

And if we can use that platform to support our local community, that’s something worth celebrating too.

Join us on 21 November. Witness extraordinary strength. And help make a powerful difference.
