A vibrant multi-storey Play Tower now brings fun, colour and adventure to the outpatients department at Sheffield Children’s, giving young patients an exciting place to play and explore during their visit.
Bedrooms
Art+ transformed all 46 en suite bedrooms with vibrant and calming designs by Morag Myerscough, creating spaces that support comfort, privacy and wellbeing for patients and their families.
Theatres
Artwork by designers Thomas.Matthews brings calm and cohesion to the theatre corridors, helping children feel more at ease as they head into surgery.
Eye Department
Bold, character-filled artwork has transformed the Eye Department, helping to engage young patients and even assist clinical assessments.
Becton Playground
The Becton Centre's new playground, created from recycled beauty products donated through John Lewis’ BeautyCycle initiative, is the first of its kind and offers young patients a unique space to play and enjoy the outdoors.
Western Bank Main Entrance
Art+, in collaboration with place maker Morag Myerscough, has transformed the Western Bank Main Entrance at Sheffield Children’s into a vibrant and welcoming space full of colour and playfulness.
Cancer and Leukaemia ward
Thanks to your support, £2.75 million was raised to completely transform the Oncology and Haematology ward at Sheffield Children’s, creating a brighter, more private and comforting space for patients and families.
Artwork for New Lifts
A creative collaboration between Art+ and the Estates Team turned hospital lifts into imaginative journeys, helping young patients feel more at ease during their visits.
Action Lab
We funded the Action Lab, the only dedicated children's lung function lab in our region, helping to diagnose and treat complex respiratory conditions including cystic fibrosis.
